WIN is looking for a dynamic and experienced water governance and programme management professional.

The Water Integrity Network Association (WIN) is an international NGO that researches the impact of corruption and poor integrity in the water sector and advocates for better governance jointly with a global network of partners. We develop and promote tools for more Transparency, Accountability, Participation, and the introduction of Anti-corruption measures at all levels. We focus on capacity development and risk prevention in water and sanitation sector programmes worldwide, with the aim of improving performance and equity to the benefit of all.

The programme manager is responsible for

  1. The development and implementation of programmes, partnerships and strategic advocacy with priority partners at the regional and international level;

  2. Fundraising and development of proposals

  3. Annual planning and reporting

  4. Coordination of country programmes

  5. Mainining relationships with strategic partners

The programme manager/coordinator contributes to knowledge sharing and learning functions within the WIN Association and with partners, capacity development and possibly tools, as well as WIN annual planning and reporting processes.

Specific Duties

· Lead the development and management of WIN initiatives and programmes with priority partners

· Support the executive director in identifying fundraising opportunities and developing proposals

· Support the Exective Director in ensuring the overall WIN programme is aligned to strategic objectives.

· Conduct oversight of WIN country programmes

· Coordinate, develop and conduct advocacy on integrity

· Contribute to the development of the WIN network

· Contribute to the development of training materials, tools, knowledge products.

· Mentor and provide support to WIN staff

Requirements

· A minimum of 7 years’ experience in international development programmes in the water and sanitation sector (with specific experience in water governance/system strengthening) or in the anti-corruption field;

· Demonstrable experience in fundraising;

· Proven track record in implementing development programmes/projects;

· Strong experience and proven track record in developing and coordinating (preferably multi-stakeholder) partnerships;

· Experience with organizational management, strategy development, and monitoring and evaluation;

· Strong experience in planning and conducting advocacy at the international level;

· Strong network among and knowledge of relevant water sector and development organizations;

· Knowledge of, and experience with, promoting gender equity and social inclusion

· Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills;

· Team player with high degree of personal integrity;

· Experience working in a developing country;

· Experience in facilitation of events and workshops;

· Relevant post-graduate degree;

· Fluency in English;

· Working knowledge of German, Spanish and/or French desirable;
